Yn Nghanolfan a Theatr Soar rydym yn llawn cyffro wrth edrych ymlaen at groesawu Khamira atom ar nos Iau, Medi’r 21ain, 2023 am 7.30yh. Cyfuniad o gerddoriaeth glasurol Hindustani a cherddoriaeth werin Cymru gyda dylanwadau’n cynnwys Miles Davis, Llio Rhydderch, Pat Metheny, Kenny Kirkland a chanu Sufi ymysg eraill - bydd hi’n noson fythgofiadwy!

At Canolfan a Theatr Soar we are excited to welcome Khamira for a special concert on Thursday, September 21st, 2023. A combination of classical Hindustani music and Welsh folk music with a diverse influences which include Miles Davis, Llio Rhydderch, Pat Metheny, Canu Sufi and Kenny Kirkland among others - it will be an unforgettable night!

Indo-Welsh world music band Khamira come to Theatr Soar for the first time.
Comprising 3 musicians from Wales and 3 from India, Khamira perform
'Improvised World Music' - Hindustani classical music, jazz, Welsh folk, rock
and deep grooves all blend seamlessly to create an unique world fusion.
Khamira have performed at Music Festivals worldwide in India, South Korea
and Wales since their inception in 2015, and released their second album
'Undod/Unity' to widespread acclaim in 2022.
Khamira's music is real world-fusion - imagine the cinematic scope of the Pat
Metheny Group and the grunge funk of Miles Davis' 70s band inter-twinned
with passages of melancholic Welsh folk music and Indian classical virtuosity.
This concert is made possible by funding from the Arts Council of Wales '
